Yoga in Theth
A New Wellness Experience in the Albanian Alps
This summer, Hotel Thethi introduced a new dimension of mountain hospitality — yoga practices in nature, part of a growing vision to bring wellness and balance into the heart of the Albanian Alps.
For one month, guests had the chance to join daily yoga sessions guided by Aurora Kopliku an experienced instructor whose gentle presence and mindful approach helped visitors reconnect with their breath, body, and the surrounding wilderness.
It was more than an activity — it was a way to experience Theth differently, through stillness, awareness, and the rhythm of nature.
How did guests respond?
The response was overwhelmingly positive. At first, many guests approached with curiosity — some even with hesitation, unsure of what to expect.
But by the end of the sessions, gratitude and calm filled the air.
“They felt lighter after long hikes in the mountains, their minds calmer, and their breath deeper,” Aurora shares.
Many guests confessed they never imagined yoga could restore their energy and balance so quickly. Their relaxed smiles at the end of practice — and their decision to continue yoga once home — were clear signs of its impact.
Yoga in the Mountains – a Different Kind of Practice
Practicing yoga in Theth is unlike any studio experience.
“The fresh air, the silence of nature, and the breathtaking views create a sacred atmosphere,” says Aurora. “Breathing becomes deeper, movements more intentional, and the mind fully present.”
In the mountains, yoga becomes a silent dialogue with nature — a way of feeling its rhythm and becoming part of it. Each pose carries new meaning, and every moment becomes an opportunity to restore inner harmony.
Aurora’s Reflection
For Aurora, this month was as transformative as it was for the guests.
“Every practice felt like a gift,” she explains. “It allowed me to see how yoga can touch the human spirit, regardless of age or experience.”
She found joy in seeing guests rediscover peace and joy within themselves. On a personal level, practicing yoga in the mountains deepened her connection with both nature and her own being.
“Each day was a beautiful reminder that peace is always within us — it just becomes more alive when we let nature guide us.”
This initiative at Hotel Thethi marks the beginning of a new vision — a kind of tourism that nurtures not only the body but also the soul.
As Aurora’s experience showed, the mountains of Theth are not just a destination — they are a space for renewal, reflection, and connection.
Will you be part of it next time?
